graduated as a Master of Interpreting (KU Leuven, Faculty of Arts, Antwerp Campus, 2015) and as a Dutch, French and Spanish teacher (University of Antwerp, Academic Teacher Training, 2016). She also obtained a certificate in the advanced course on Research Methods in Translation and Interpreting Studies at the University of Geneva (2016). She is currently enrolled as a PhD student at KU Leuven, Faculty of Arts (Antwerp Campus). Her PhD research deals with the co-construction, perception and experience of empathic communication in interpreter-mediated clinical consultations.
