is an international scholar residing at KU Leuven from November 2018 to November 2019. He is Lecturer of English at Communication University of Zhejiang (China). He’s currently working on a PhD project under the supervision of Professor Huijuan MA at Beijing Foreign Studies University, where he also received his Bachelor’s degree in English (2007) and Master’s degree in Translation Studies (2012). He investigates the translation policy and institutional practices of translation at Foreign Languages Bureau of China, the largest foreign-language publishing organization in the country, from its inception in 1949 up until now. He’s also the Chinese translator of Will Durant’s Story of Philosophy and Daniel Klein’s The History of Now, and editor of the Chinese journal Translation Horizons.
